I've always enjoyed puzzle games, though I'll admit, I suck at a lot of them. My friend Ronnie found a little puzzle game called Puzzle Quest Galactrix. The developers, Infinite Interactive have a working demo of the game for you to play. It seems to be a clever spin-off on the popular game Bejeweled, with the exception that the combo chains you make by connecting the gems on the board will give you benefits such as: armor, shields, weapons, etc. Naturally, your primary goal is to defeat your opponent, who you will be alternating turns with.
The game will be releasing on February 24th for the Nintendo DS, Playstation 3 Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and the PC. The game will also feature a multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to duke it out in a good old-fashion free-for-all. With a limited amount of puzzle games to choose from these days, Galactrix is definitely one to keep your eye out for.
