Just a quick little note about some upcoming games that I am following.
Patapon
Platform: PSP
Release Date: February 26, 2008
Browsing the Penny Arcade forums the other day, I came across what seems to be an upcoming sleeper hit for the PSP. Honestly, the last time I even touched my PSP was when Loco Roco came out. Word on the street is that there is a demo out, but I've yet to really look into it. Patapon looks to be in the same vector graphics style as Loco Roco, featuring smooth animations and some kicking tunes as well.

Release Date: March 25, 2008
Another sleeper hit, this was actually released for the PS2 in 2006. Since then, everyone who played it has been begging for a Wii version. A large feature in this game is a paintbrush you move around the screen, coloring in objects as you play. This screams Wii-mote so loud I dont know why the developers didn't think of it sooner.
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (aka Sonic RPG)
Platform: DS
Release Date: TBA
So there is no release date for this game yet, but it already has me super excited. This is being developed by BioWare, of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect fame. This will be awesome.
