Around a year ago, Max and I were making fun of a video we found on YouTube. The video consisted of two guys doing what they called, "Extreme Walking." To be brief, all they were really doing was running and jumping off of stuff, maybe grabbing their legs every once in awhile to look cool. At first we thought it was a joke, but as we continued our search we found that there were numerous videos from the same account, all recordings of these same two fellows happily jumping off things.

I take all my laughter back. Electronic Arts seems to be in development of an action/adventure game called Mirror's Edge. The game consists of the main character running, jumping, sliding, even wall running around a cityscape environment. In the video, you see that it's set in the first person view giving the player a real sense of how the character interacts and maneuvers through the environment. The video also boasts that you'll be able to engage in hand-to-hand combat with people and even use weapons. Mirror's Edge is supposed to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, however, a specific release date is unknown at this time. It's generally presumed that it'll be releasing late this year.
