For those of us who play flash games online, you'll probably remember when the first Fancy Pants game was released. Created by Brad Borne, Fancy Pants' drawn out graphics, and it's sonic-like platforming, made the first Fancy Pants Adventures an incredibly fun game. Most of the flash games that I play online, I play on Kongregate. Kongregate is a site dedicated to all genres of flash games where you can create a profile for yourself and even "level up" within the site's community. This is also were I played Fancy Pants 2.

That's right, the sketched out sprinter is back for more of what you know and love; running fast. You'll find six new levels in this sequel, all with their own unique style and theme. If you play the game through Kongregate, you'll be presented with some intriguing challenges. These include: collecting all 6 different color pants for your character, finding the hidden trophy within each level, and even juggling a shell on your head. The game also has a golf side game integrated within each level where you're objective is to find a snail, defeat it, and then kick its shell into a hole located somewhere else in the level. Just from personal experience, this can be very fun, and also very frustrating.

They have a level select on the opening screen, making it very convenient for you to start off where left off. World 1 is also available from the main menu along with further information about the developer. The story of Fancy pants is pretty weak. You're rewarded an ice cream cone after completing the first area, which in turn is stolen by a greedy rabbit (Yes, genius). This makes your main goal to get that ice cream cone back from the rabbit. On the sixth level, you'll face the rabbit in a "boss battle" however, if you have a couple of lives to spare, this won't be that challenging.

The second Fancy Pants lives up to its popular predecessor and has some additional interesting features. It will only take a half an hour to get through the game, and that's if you played through it slow. Although, if you try to complete all the achievements on Kongregate for the game, you may be there for a bit longer. Nonetheless, it's worth the time to play.
