DexSoft Multimedia is a website built for the sole purpose of supplying game developers with the assets they need to make a 3D game. There's a cost, of course, but the prices, in comparison to the work/labor costs it would take to build some of the models, music, and textures, are more than reasonable. Models come in packs/sets, "medievil pack", "village set", "fantasy pack", or you can buy models individually. The products aren't bad at all; some of the models look really respectable. You need to buy licenses for the products if you're planning on using them in commercial products.
This online gaming market makes it easy for you to just browse around and add stuff to your shopping cart. However, if you're not a serious game developer/designer, then browsing is all you'll want to do. Prices range from around twenty bucks to hundreds of dollars. PayPal and normal credit cards are the offered methods of payment.
From what I gather, it's a single company making these products. It isn't a community collaboration like iStockPhoto, where other artists can upload their work. Also, the site seems relatively new, since some sections don't even have content for them. There's nothing to buy in the music section. Still, it's a very interesting concept, and could help game companies who may need extra assistance in the design elements of their games.
